Mighty fine post, Chris. Flash fiction doesn’t give us a lot of room to move around, but solid characterization can be done.
Thanks Milo! I think with such confines on word count, actions and events are naturally limited. Yet, much of a strong flash story is built by the characters themselves. Being able to say a lot with very little is definitely crucial.
